So, you’ve won your offer on that perfect house, and now you’re onto the inspection phase—are you ready for it? Today I’m sharing a handy explainer video that we’ve put together for our clients all about what to expect when you’re inspecting. In the state of Rhode Island specifically, buyers will be granted a 10-day inspection period once their offer gets accepted. (Unless, of course, you waive this right, which a lot of buyers in today’s market do). To clarify, this inspection period is 10 days from the date of contract, and it doesn’t include weekends and holidays.
